First impressions are everything, especially behind the exclusive gates of 1996 Beverly Hills.
While Behind the Gates (A Beverly Hills Secrets Novel ♦ Book 1) has officially launched and is available for readers, I recently made some adjustments. I wanted the exterior packaging of this story to reflect the opulent, multi-million dollar world that action movie producer Sherman Lee and his assistant Emily Karelin inhabit.
Now, I’m unveiling the shiny new eBook cover!
Notice a difference? The glimpse of a turquoise swimming pool, the bright gold metallic font in the right size and style, and name at the bottom of the gate. I improved the mansion’s photo, capturing that north of Sunset Boulevard neighborhood ambiance.
Every weekday I used to drive past mansions that resembled what you’re seeing on my cover.
From the series title at the top to my author signature on the rain-washed driveway below, this metallic luster frames the stunning Beverly Hills estate with a 1990s aesthetic. I felt the cover deserved a font that looked just as expensive as the secrets hidden inside the mansion walls.
The swimming pool brightens the cover even more. After all, what Beverly Hills mansion is complete without one? And Sherman uses his a lot as he loves to swim.
Now, the entire series visual brand is perfectly aligned, sleek, and ready for action as I finalize the upcoming November release of Book 2, Dark Secrets!
